Day Treatment

   
 

Day Treatment serves youth in middle and high school who either live in their community or participate in the Residential Program  

Year-round programming (8 am - 3 pm / 5 days a week)

  •     Individualized interventions

  •     Psycho-educational groups

  •     Formal peer groups

  •     Family counseling

  •     Treatment groups

  •     Experiential counseling

Utilizes a structured environment concentrating on strengths, skill building and problem solving through group and individual milieu

Focus on individualized therapeutic goals designed to enable the client to focus on issues that cause dysfunction in the client’s life

Various interventions designed to improve ability to problem-solve, increase social skills, enhance basic educational competence, and strengthen decision making abilities

Families involved through family counseling and multi-family support groups

Serves youth who, for mental health reasons, cannot safely attend a public school setting. Working collaboratively with family, referral sources, and other agencies, Children’s Home staff target treatment to the individual needs of the client.
