The Children's Home has provided care to
children and families of western North Carolina for nearly 98 years. Now more
than ever, The Children's Home needs your support. Each contribution brings
with it the possibility of a better future for each of the children we serve.
Cash gifts are tax-deductible and are welcomed throughout the year. They
may be sent to:
The Children's Home,
Inc.
1001 Reynolda
Road
Winston-Salem, NC
27104-3200
or
Our greatest need is for unrestricted dollars. Unless
otherwise specified, your gift will go toward meeting the most immediate needs
of the children and families we serve.
Gift Planning
Estate gifts are made through individuals'
wills in the form of bequests. They may also be made through charitable trusts,
life insurance plans, etc. Such gifts are most often added to The Home's
general endowment to help sustain future services.
Honor/Memorials
You may make a contribution in honor or in
memory of someone who has touched your life, and support The Children's Home in
the process. A personalized card acknowledging your gift will be sent to the
person you are honoring and others you may designate. These gifts will also be
acknowledged in our newsletter "The Home Chronicle".

Workplace Giving
Many companies provide matching gift
programs, sometimes even doubling or tripling an employee's contribution to a
charitable organization. Check with your company's human resources department
to find out about its matching gift policy. Many employers will provide a form
for you to fill out and send to us with your donation. We will verify your gift
and return the form to your company or its foundation, which will issue a
matching contribution to The Children's Home.
