Intensive In-Home Services
Intensive In-Home services is a time-limited, structured family approach to working with children and adolescents who are at significant risk for out-of-home placement due to their mental health and/or substance-abuse issues. Intensive In-Home may include, but is not limited to:
- Individual and family therapy
- Crisis services
- Substance-abuse interventions
- Behavior management
- Parenting education
- Anger management
Services are delivered primarily in the family’s home and community.
In order to be successful, Intensive In-Home requires the full participation and cooperation of the family with the team. The team will work to identify and build upon the family’s strengths and natural supports to promote positive, healthy changes in the family system and in the child or adolescent’s behavior.
The unique nature of our campus enables learning opportunities that all children in our care benefit from, such as countless hands-on experiential activities from farm-centered activities to arts-based projects to trust-building ropes courses.
